You could replace your seat with a take out from a newer truck (early to mid 90s) from an RV surplus outlet. They bolt in and sell for $350-$500 in my neck of the woods. They usually are new seats from conversion shops. Check it out!
A friend put buckets in his 93 F-250 a few years back and I got the displaced bench from him a couple of weeks ago and put it in my '68. All I had to do was swap out the slides off my old seat onto the new one and it fit right in. The holes for the slides were in the same places on the two seats that were made 25 years apart. They did change from bolts and nuts on the old seat to bolts and threaded inserts on the newer one, but that was a 5 minute fix. You have a whole new driving experience with both cheeks at the same height.
Hi Ryan, check out the seat in my 68, it's from a 89-90 model Lariat. Easy swap and very comfortable. It is like Dan said in the previous post, a whole new driving experience.A pic is on my web page. :-)

I had mine rebuilt. My brother was in the upholstery business. Mine was about 260.00 (what he charges others). It took him 8 hours MAX. I helped to put the `cover on and bolt in the seat.
It was done with first rate material and `Artic` Vinal (bends at 40deg below).
One of the wire supports were broken and it was repaired with a clip. Extra poly foam was added on the back and seat less than 10.00 of material.
My Cloth was `Stock Stuff that he glued padding to and then pleated/stitched it.
Get quotes from different shops and don`t be afraid of the small guy shop.. they make money and don`t have to charge you 500.00 a seat to do it. Don`t pay for quality that you don`t like... 20.00 material to you is probally 12-14 or less to the upholsteror cost..if you need 6 yards you can see how the money is spent!!
Iam not braging, just giving you some idea of what to ask for and expect when you go to have yours done. Thank god you can!! some of the `NEW stuff cannot be recovered!! the `plastic is bonded to the foam and is a throwaway seat...
you should see the look on the `customers` faces.
Will late 80's/early 90's bronco front seats fit in my truck as easily as the benches out the the same year of F-series? Will the captain's chairs and consol from the Bronco fit or will just a Bronco Bench fit?
