first supercharged lightning??
ok, my boss and I were arguing about which lightning was first with a supercharger...can anyone on here clear this up for me? i tried searching but couldnt find anything...thanks...

It was the 99 or Gen 2 lightning that was first supercharged. The Gen 1 lightning was a naturally asperated 5.8 with GT 40 Intake and heads i believe.

. NO just kidding. It is exactly as he said. The 1st gen(93-95) are a 5.8 w gt-40 heads N/A 240 hp. The gen 2 (99-04) were 5.4 w a roots supercharger (99-00 360 hp) (01-04 380 hp)

Actually the first person to put a supercharger on a gen l lightning would be the first lightning with a supercharger ... Lew

well the first lightnings did not come with super chargers, although im sure many people put them on. Regardless Ford did not put a supercharger on GEN 1 lightnings.
