Which tailgate light strip?

My boys just got me an LED strip for my truck for christmas its made by "Pacer" , I talked to a friend that works at a perfomance shop and he told me not to get the ones he had in stock that he had too many returns so he ordered the Pacer strip in, I picked it out , just told the boys which one. Cant wait to put it on.... oh and I also got some window tint and a really nice set of floormats too.

I'm going with the 3 ID lights. I like the strip but have seen a few that had some out which makes me think twice. I did see a truck with a extra light on each side like below which didn't look bad. I did a little photoshop to show what I mean.

I just bought the 60" recon extreme with the amber scanning turn signal, it has the running and brake lights also but does not have the backup though, but the turn signal looks great. I think it was less than a hundred bucks.
