Just wondering if anyone has this unit and installed it into an 02 f350 crewcab.Kenwood DDX512 (DDX-512) All In-Dash Car Stereo Receivers Car Stereo Receivers and Head Units Car Audio Car Audio, Video, & GPS Navigation - Sonic Electronix Want to make sure the istallation will look seemless.Crutchfield states unit will not fit when I put my truck and info in.But when I go to sonicelectronix they have it as fitting?

also keep in mind this is the older unit. the ddx 514 is the newer model ($40 more on the same site). One difference is dual zone capability - don't remember if there were other differences. The kid can listen to her music in the back while i listen to mine up front - good for trips. That was important to me, so I went newer. I know that is not the question you asked but figured I would point it out. Thanks, Mike

I own a ddx512, it's currently in the awesome hands of best buy getting fixed but I had this installed in my f150. I bought the unit off of my brother and he had it in his 99' f350 and it was a clean look as it is in my truck. I don't think you need a mounting kit for or the exterior bezel, the one it comes with works fine. Reason I say that you may not need it is because in my 150 we had to cut some of the plastic in the dash to squeeze it tightly in there to fit. Good luck if you get it, you won't be disappointed unless you have the problem like mine.
