5litre compatibility
I'm still looking for a replacement engine for my 91 f250, I've got a line on a 5 litre out of a 2000 explorer. Is the long block swap a go and is this engine a good choice?

what did it have in it before? the swap is a go just get sensors and sending units for ur model truck so the computor will now what is being told... i think it would be a good swap they have 215hp stock. and those gt40p heads that every one is always wanting i say go for it

If the F250 has a 5.0 or 5.8 before then yes it's compatable but don't get your hopes up that it'll be more powerful because it's still just a 5.0l and that displacement only generates a certain amount of torque. Bottom line is a 5.8 would be a better but if you don't have a lot of choices then use this 5.0.
