ok heres my question, i know its probably been asked more than once but with my attention span i have, well hard to find what i am looking for.
so heres whats its doing just ever now and then it makes a hissing sound around 1200 to 2000 rpm? when your just chuging down the road normal, as soon as you get in the throttle it lags some then spools right up and runs normal. i have check for an exhaust leak, and cant find one, just got done cleaning the rubber boots on the plumbing. i have unplugged the warm up thing under the turbo and still does it. so could it be the waste gate? and how can i bypass it? so please help
i unplugged the two prong connector underneath the vacuum lines at the base of the pedestal. heres some more info on it. when it does it and i press the clutch in and hold the fuel steady it still does it till i step on the skinny pedal. just like when the clutch is not pressed

What kind of intake do you have?
A hissing sound at those RPM's (assuming it's doing this sound even with a fully warmed up engine) is common if you have an open element intake.
its the factory intake system the only mods i have dun to the truck is air bags on all for corners, a ts performance chip, and gutted factory exhaust. and i have narrowed it down to something in the engine compartment area.

It does not sound like you unplugged the EBPV actuator connector. There are no vac lines at the base of the turbo pedestal. There is a two prong connector at the base of the spider that is an air intake temp sensor and it is under some small pressure lines that attach to the spider and the wastegate solenoid. The EBPV connector is white and at the base of the turbo pedestal under the turbo.
well i fixed the [problem i believe, after reading some more and watching another video on it i found that i did unplug the wrong plug. now with the right one gone i believe its fixed
