Steering noise (help)

Ever since I got my truck 2 months ago it has had a noise when turning the wheel. Best I can describe it is a higher picth "shhh" noise. Turning in motion while driving, or parking. Can head it inside and out.

I took it in for a list of things, they said it needed a pitman and idler arm. I took it in to get both of those replaced, but they said it only needed the idler, and they didn't put in the pitman.

Any thoughts of the problem?

the noise is in the steering pump, not the pitman arm. it can help to change the oil, but probably needs a new pump someday. cant hurt to use it that way.
