TIME CRUNCH! PLEASE HELP!

Okay, so the city has threatened to to my project away. I made a deal with them, as long as I get it mechanically operable they won't take it and leave me alone. Today is Tuesday, and I have until Saturday. I've got just about everything in except the crossmember. I can't remember how I got it in the last time. It's a 1988 F-150. Any tips or help Would be greatly appreciated. The City aint takin' my truck!

which crossmember? the one holding the tranny up? if so jack the tranny up as far as you can and put it in there it should fit right in if you do it at an angle and straighten it after you get it onto the frame

Buy a manual. $20 bucks and you won't lose your truck.

Second on the manual, that way you can get the answer to any of the questions that may come up without having to wait for responses. They are nice to have anyway. Sorry to hear about your truck, I almost feel bad when I tow broke down cars!
