Well, I wouldn't call it "lifted", rather I'd say I "leveled" out my 2WD, '94 Ranger.

I installed a set of 1.5" spacers to go under my front coil springs. I bought the spacers from RoughCountry some years ago. I like them because the spacers brought the front end up so that the truck sat level instead of having that 'butt in the air' look, yet it didn't raise it too much, I didn't have to mess with a lowered/extended pitman arm or mess with anything more than a new alignment. RC said I could have stayed with my OE shocks, but they needed changing anyway, so I did opt to get a bit longer front shocks.

The spacers also allowed me to go to larger tires for winter driving - which I also wanted to do. I picked up a set of 15" steel rims from a junked 4X4 Bronco II and mounted the new 'snow shoes' on them - Cooper WeatherMaster S/T-2, 235/75-15s. They are 29" tall and allow me to go through a LOT of snow without issues! THEY ARE SIMPLY GREAT!

Yeah, the taller tires make my speedometer read a bit off, about 6 mph slower than it really is, as well as reducing my gear multiplication in all gears, which isn't good, but not that big of a deal, as I adapt to it easily and just watch my tach so as not to work/lug my 2.3L down.

If I had an easy way to post a picture of my Ranger , I would - but I don't. Sorry....

P.S.
The longer front shocks I installed were NAPA # 31029.

Just some fyi. You can easily fit the 235/75/15 tires without a lift. I ran them on my old 96 ranger, but yeah they affect the the 2.3l quite a bit.

IDK.... all I can say is that I do drive MY '94, 2WD Ranger (2.3L, 5spd XLT, regular cab) offroad thru the woods and the 235/75-15s didn't have enough clearance around the front tire (mostly at the front of the wheel well) for MY comfort level until I installed the spacers. Maybe my coil springs were jacked....?

well the 3rd gen rangers like yours and mine had a lot of problems with spring sag and that would cause the ride height to drop anywhere from just a little bit to almost a whole inch and my 16's had the same prob just mine would catch the bumper cause it was wrecked at one point and the bumper was f'd up so i jus took it off and then later on i jus cut the corners off and put it on without the corners
clears now!!!
