rear end

own a 1992 nite bronco with a 302 and a 4EOD tranny. runs great however, the rear end makes a clunking sound when i,m on and off the throttle. the rear end has been rebuilt

start by taking it back to the shop that did the work and tell them. could be a ujoint, loose pinion nut also.

i would make sure the rear diff fluid is full before you drive it. do you have a factory limited slip in the back? if so make sure they put friction modifier in there otherwise it will fail. how many miles are on the new gears?

it does have the factory limited slip. i have driven it maybe 400 miles since rebuild
