I have been using the rain-x latitude blades and have been happy with them. Got mine at Pepboys I believe.

I like the Bosch Evolution blades. They do not have the same frame style as a typical blade therefore they do not freeze in the winter and keep pressure across the entire surface of the blade. Amazon has them for around $14 a piece. I think there are a few other companies making similar blades.

That's the same style as the rain-x latitude. A friend of mine with a PSD tried the Bosch ones and wasn't happy with them. Supposedly they worked really well at first but got bad after only a couple of months. I went with the rain-x ones after hearing this and have been very happy. I've had mine for well over a year now.

My vote is with the Bosch blades as well. Very happy after the first snowstorm here in Boston.

I have the bosch icon, works well. Kind of expensive but so far good enough for me to order them for all 4 of my vehicles.

The RainX worked fine in the summer for me but the winter they were no better than the cheapo Anco brand. That is what I am going back to. You can buy three sets for the price of those others if you wanted.

This is exactly my experience. My Bosch Icon's were aweseome for months, then took a dump WAY sooner than they should have, especially for the price.

Next time I will be trying the Anco version.

I havent really found wipers that hold up in the winter. The latest pair I bought for the car and my truck were some michelin ones from costco. They are holding up well so far, but I only installed them a few months ago.

Blades are blades, I sell 5 different types of them. Its mostly on how you take care of them and if you are using a good de-icer like the Prestone brand with dirt blocker. I run open season blades on my Ranger with that combo and it does extreamly well. I have Trico-Neoforms on my SD now and I'm thinkin about gettin normal ones and usin the Prestone brand washer fluid.

Bosch Icons work for me for a full year at a time before starting to smear and streak.

Here's my experience with both sizes and brands in the recent years.

Stock size is either 20" or 22"... can't remember.

24" works well for both driver and passenger sides. 26" actually fits on the driver side, but the springs in the wiper blades and wiper arms (even brand new wiper arms) are not strong enough to keep the low-profile designed blades with a full contact in the center of the blades... they smear right out of the box. Upgrade your size to the 24" and gain some additional clear view... you'll love it!

Bosch Icons have been consistent performers for me for over three years now. Michelin has a set of similar low-profile blades that look almost exactly like the Icons, but they aren't nearly as good.

Hope this helps.

I've used the Rain-X latitude ones on my car for a while now. Probably almost 2 years, and they still make no noise and work about 80% as well as when they were new. Sure- they are almost 3x the price of the normal "spring" type blades... but they last MUCH longer and make no noise.

On my truck, I have the Bosch Evolution, which is the same style, as mentioned above. There are no springs for ice to get stuck in, and so far they are working well. They were on sale for 10 bucks a pop at the local store in July, so I put them on. So far I am impressed, but we'll see if they hold up as well as the Rain-X.

I'm never going back to the conventional open spring type blades again, I can tell you that much.
