On the post that you are reading that you would like to rep the person, there is a red heart with a green + in it. Press the heart and follow the instructions. It is located next to the post number. Example: #2 (permalink) HEART.

then you get little green beans after your name after you earn x rep pts. it's pretty much just a pat on the back if you really really like something someone says

You start with one green bean. Then after you receive 100 points you get another and every 100 point after that you get another and so on and so on and so on.

See I just repped you. You can see them in your User CP. I got you to Missy. 95 I gotta spread them before I get you again.

Here's a link to how they got the name "Green Bean" along with a discussion on how it works:

Once you get to a certain number of rep points (I forget how many), it takes 150 additional rep points before you get another greenie.

The number of greenies...ends, once you get to 1650 rep points. Once you reach 1650 points, you'll have 11 greenies.

The 11 greenies I have represent 2563...uh...make that 2570...uh...make that 2574 rep points.

Thanks guys!

Thanks for the reps Bill. It was worth 12 FYI and it put me at 500. New beanie for me, Yaayyy.

I wonder if the light colored beans take 150? I guess we'll see.

Now I can't rep anybody else in this thread. Thanks guys.

I noticed that Bill's first light colored bean is number 6, so is yours.

Yep...5 dark green beans then 6 light greenies....11 total, that's all you can get like numberdummy said.

Dually, did you notice how many points you got form numberdummy? He should be giving more points than others becuase he's another one of the heavy hitters here.

Neal, congrats on the light geenie...you surely deserve it

Bill, sorry for getting you involved in that 'other' forum

Jim, just like Neal said, he gave me 12. He didn't leave any comments but still a large sum of points.
