My guess is it's a memory issue with the radio. I would start with either unplugging the radio for a few hours or disconnecting the battery and leaving the lights on for a few minutes. This might reset the radio and allow it to fully initialize.
Thanks, the radio works, just when trying to load a cd does it not load or it shows that it is initializing. I am a little hesitant to disconnect the battery for fear that I may mess up some other settings for the car in general. How do I unplug the radio?
You have to pull the radio out of the dash and unplug it from the back. If you have the radio removal tool, pull it out and unplug it. If not, you may be able to pull the dash a part and unplug the radio from the back.
On the 2005 F150, the trim panel around the radio will pull off. Put your fingers at the top of the bezel right where the little tray is on the top of the dash, and pull out. Once the piece of trim is removed, there are (4) 9/32 hex head screws holding the radio in. Pull it out, and unplug the connectors in the back.
I just took my radio apart to find a stripped out plastic gear as the cause of the no load/eject condition. I am waiting on Pioneer to see if I can get a part for it.
P.S. ReAX I love your signature. I remember watching RVB when it came out. That was some funny stuff.
