Hi all,
My washer fluid tank is cracked and leaking. I looked through many albums looking for what the correct (for the 1967 F250) tank should look like.
In the galleries I found one bag, and a couple of tanks mounted on the left inner fender. Recently saw a 67 with the tank on the rad support.
What is the correct tank, and where should it go?
Bear in mind that my cab is a 68, so I'm not sure what junk moved over with it. The wiring to the tank for the pump has a stock looking plug (at the moment).
NumberDummy - I gotta think you'll know the answer and verbally spank me for it!
Darrell, Me thinks a hood up show truck might require a year correct bag or box, but a daily driver can use anything that fits the drivers side fender apron.
A day yarding in your local salvage yard can produce some excellent items for reuse.
John, I kind of agree, since mine isn't a show truck -- but in the interest of making the truck look reasonably 'historically correct', I was hoping to pull the correct item from the yard...
So it should go on the fender apron rather than the rad support?

The 67 had the bag, then after that it was a tank. The bag doesn't work as good as the tank so when the bag leaks many folks switched to a tank. I think you can still get them all new from after market sources. I went to a tank on my 67, it probably hols more fluid too

Yes sir, drivers side fender apron. The bag had a flat bracket with the ends turned out for the bags 2 grommets to go over and hang.
