International

Is anyone aware of the 6.9 and 7.3 being descended from the International MV gas engine?

never heard of that but they are international motors even the powerstrokes are.

i recall hearing that the 6.9 was built for tractors etc originally??

Seen a guy at a truck pull the had a triple nickel detroit in a 79 ford. Got just about to the end and one of the front lock-outs gave out and a second later the rear t-case yoke twisted off like popcorn. I was sitting directly next to it five feet away......it was awesome!

Triple is a cummins not detroit.

Hey, I've got a 74 Suburban with a DDA453T and AT540 trans. You should see people look when you take off. It was great except it topped out at 62 MPH. It would move a house.
