and his wife Cheryl and if you have even the SMALLEST chance to meet up with them, you just have to do it!! GREAT people to pass the time with, AWESOME stories, and one heck of a rig to boot!! Not often you get to see an F550 out there, much less one that nice!! Barney & Cheryl have been in MD for about 6 months and this was the first time we got together.... man am I kicking myself for not making time sooner. I know some of you met him at RRE and he's heading to Virginia Beach for 3 weeks, then off to Texas for the winter, so if you're near there or on the way, try to make time to meet. And be sure to ask him about "sliding the cornrows with his 16yr old".... the man is nuts in a very awesome way!!
Barney & Cheryl - thanks for taking the time and making the long drive up to meet up!
Sounded like a great time, cool dude isn't he, lol.. My wife commented how nice the Fifes were, Cheryl gave my wife a tour of their (beautiful) fithwheel at RRE and chatted for awhile, great people indeed.
When I met up with Barney and Cheryl, they served up some great burgers and the beer was so cold there was ice on the bottom of the cans.
Dangit man, I prefer vodka and whiskey myself, but the way you describe that cold beer, oh god, I might just hop to the little town bar for a bud on tap.
Ok Ok, stop it you guys.
Brendan, thanks for lunch. was great meeting you two. Nice guy, beautiful girl, and awesome truck. Its always good times when you're swapin stories with intelligent folk. Not often we get to meet "young uns" that want to hang out with us "old folk"
Dan, ready for beer and burgers anytime.
Eddie, RRE was a blast, wasn't it.
Mike, give your wife a hug for me. enjoyed our phone conversation.
Chris, not exactly sure where we will end up for the winter. Three options right now. Mississippi, Louisiana or Texas it all depends who comes up with the money for the contracts first. Then we'll decide.
Parkland, Cheryl's favorite is WILD TURKEY and coke, so whiskey will do. If we get a chance to run through Canada again, we will plan a get together
Its just plain amazing how much fun you can have getting together with friends that you feels like you've know all you life, but have never really met. The FTE 7.3 Brotherhood ROCKS..
One of my many "want to's" in life is to share an Adult Beverage with each and everyone of you.
