What is this?
What is this?
I have removed this on my truck, due to having a leak here in the past. Just can't remember what it is.

All I see is a red x. No picture. I hate it when that happens.
I can see it now. Must be my computer.......

I don't know what happened. When I open it, I can see it. Maybe some one will tell me what I did wrong.

That's the top sensor on filter canister, fuel filter restriction. Very bottom sensor is water in fuel.

Thanks for the clear up. I too thought it was the water/ fuel sensor. I plugged mine about 6 months ago. Hopefully doesn't cause any problems down the road. I also change my fuel filter every time I change my oil.

fuel filter restriction sensor part #
old thread but I need an international "preferably" or ford part number for the fuel filter restriction sensor
Looks exactly like the one in the O/P pic above for my 97, it's dripping and none of my local supply sources have it listed.
ANYONE Please

Ford calls it a vacuum sensor in their computer. That was probably the right part he was looking at.

I plugged mine back in '07. Haven't worried about it ever again. I just change the filter out every year or so and carry a spare just in case.
