runs rough
The 86 f 250 with four barell carb is running ruogh at an idle. Black smoke is coming out the tail pipe. checked float levels,checked the back buttrrflies to assure they were closed. I havent touched the idle jats yet. Does anyone have any suggestions ? I was on the fuel pages last night and read alot about vaccume leaks,and alot of other information regarding this problem. I read one thread last night about being a tooth out on the engine timing, anybody ever heard of this? Other than the rough,or surging idle the motor seems to run pretty good. any advise? thanks
