Fuel line help!!!

I was wondering if there is any specific tools you need to change a fuel line that goes from the filter to the fuel rail in a 1988 ford f-150, I have rubber lines(stock) and need to know if there is something special i need, or need to do to get it to seal right.

Yes, there is specific fuel line connector tool that slides over line into the connector. They are typically round, fit over the hard part of the line, and slide in the connector releasing the retaining spring allowing the flex line to seperate...if that makes sense. They are availabe for cheap at Pep Boys, Checker, all of the regular parts places. No tool is needed for re connect, though.
