so i have seen this group guage buy and it got me thinking. at what point do i need guages. i have a 6637 kit from riffraff on the way, would like to put in a 4" exuast some day with a 3" to 4" dp, if not then i deffinately want just a 3" dp both from tymar. i konw if i chip it someday i really want guages. but when do i really need guages to messure egt's, boost, fuel pressure etc? thanks, blake.
anytime you mess with the fueling characteristics of the engine its recommended. this means if you do a 10k mod or anything it would be nice for you to have an egt guage b/c the EGTs can get up there if your towing even with just a 10k mod. boost is just for grins so you can watch the needle go up as you pin it, but it can be helpful to see boost leaks. trans temp is recommended at stock level ASAP if you got an auto.. hope that helps. and if your interested in ISSPRO guages keep in mind their prices go up next year. didn't know which guages you might be interested in.

Just yearly price increases and also I am sure they are adjusting it up since they brought them in at a lower price point to get the interest level up. To clarify this is a Isspro price increase and we will still work to keep them as low as we can.
This was a 10k resistor that was wired into the ICP sensor circuit to fool the PCM into higher fueling. That was before custom tuning became so popular.
