Nice.
Rodney...just fired up that 292 I got from you. Runs ok. Thanks!!
I may be down soon...as I am taking a trip south with my brothers and heading to Mississippi to see my buddy. He has a mansion down there and has the 57 tbird. We always cruise in it,and he is a blast. He was a boxer for the 1976 Olymics. He always thinks he can kick my butt..but not so far. Maybe I will sic my brothers on him. 3 on 1 and that may work...LOL
Then down to the ranch....and hopefully find some more trucks. My brother collects mustangs....so we will be looking at those too.
May cruise into Ardmore to see that 56.
Also, my diesel buddy wants a bebops fiberglass cab and I told him about yours. He is building a diesel 56.....and may actually finish mine.
He built 2 diesel trucks in the 80s and they were awesome.
Bill.....do you think bebops sell scratch and dent cabs?

Cool truck (in original post).

Forgive the noob post, but what year are those side hood emblems off of? I recently picked up a '55 F250 that is a bit of a hodgepodge and instead of the correct emblems it has very similar ones to the ones on that truck, but they look a bit unfinished. It looked like there should be something next to the ford, I see on that truck the Ford is actually further back. Is there suppose to be something next to the ford, or not?

Thanks much, and here is a pic of my '55 with a '53 grill on a '77 chevy chassis.

Steven

I think I have a closer picture of the emblem somewhere, I'll try and find it.

Found it.

Thanks for the info guys, always appreciated.

I actually was curious what the emblem was off of, and if there was any additional logo that was suppose to go on the narrow part of the "arrow" shaft. With the truck being a bit of a mix already, I'm not too worried about make it look perfectly stock.

That being said...

Hey Racer, Since I've bought the truck I've been drooling over the catalogs from Mid fifty, to SoCal to LMC. One of the things I noticed was that all the remanufactured emblems for '53-'55 are for the F-100, does anyone make them with an F-250 ball, or am I going to have to just keep a good eye on e-bay/ swap meets?

Thanks again guys,

Steven

AFAIK No one is reproing the larger truck emblems, you'll have to settle for good used ones.
