Out of curiosity - how much did the new motor run you? Is it a genuine Ford, or a rebuilt Recon or Jasper?

'01 5.4L fit in a '99 Expedition?
It is a new motor. I picked it up from a commercial liquidator in OKC. He buys left over stock motors and parts from GM and Ford assembly lines. He advertises on E-bay. I paid $2995 for a complete engine that was complete including a new manifold and wiring harness. It even had the oil already in, ready to be installed in a new truck.
I have had it in for a week now and it is running great.:-)
