Hey mate i found this unit yesterday which is PERFECT. Fits easily behind the seat without having to move it forward at all.
It's called the soundstream stealth, Can someone let me know how much they cost in the US if they check it out?

i looked and i didnt see a price.... i like them tho just too bad they are only 200w subs... i can power 10 of them lol but i do like them

You could always just buy the enclosure and put a different driver in it.
I was thinking of this one, apparently it is good

Infinity 1252w Reference Series 12" subwoofer with dual 4-ohm voice coils at Crutchfield.com i was going to go with 2 of these and the mounting depth isnt that much and i like infinity

What is the mounting depth 5 1/16" ? Adding the thickness of the mdf and the fact that the gap behind the seat gets smaller as it goes up, i highly doubt that would fit.

I replied to your thread in the 80-86 forum but I guess ill post in this one too..

This is what I had in my 86 F150 with bench seat. box is 2.22 cubic feet ported and tuned to 33hz with 1 12" Kicker CVR.

Here is what I have in my 94 Lightning
Box is 3.12 cubic feet ported and tuned to 35hz with 2 10" Audioque HDC3 subs.
