Welcome to FTE. Have you checked your glow plug relay? When the truck won't start, are you getting white smoke out the tail pipe while cranking? You can short the GPR with a screwdriver for 30 seconds for an easy test.

OK, like I mentioned in your other post, there's a couple things to start looking at. Make sure the battery connections are squeaky clean, both positive and neg, and the other ends of the connections as well. Just trace the wires. what is the condition of the GPR? did you replace that or check it? Here's a link on how to check this. It's the first paragraph.

Welcome to guzzle's Stancor GPR replacement Mod Web Page

Are you getting white smoke when you are trying to start? How cold is it getting at night?

On edit: The Chris' have spoken...

The large post to the other large post will open the relay and should energize the GP's by hand, so to speak. The post under the rubber boot should be hot all the time, the other is only hot when the key is on. Jumping it with a screwdriver will jump 12v to the GP side and active your plugs.
