need serious help
HI,
I dont know what i did, if i did anything. I was puuting in the reverse back up lights as in the post done by Bear hunter. Got it wired up, went to start the truck, it turns over but wont catch. I disconnected everything i did so it is not getting juice form truck. tried to start again..nothing.
I have remote starter, so i shut the truck, hit the remote starter, strats right up. I remote unlock door, get in, put key in ignition, turn to appropiate location, put foot on brake pedal, truck shuts off. did this twice.
i checked fuses..wires...i am not sure whats up..any give me some thing to look for?

Sounds to me like something is wrong in the ignition switch. It is not connecting like it should when in the on position. When you start it with remote and then get in and put foot on brake the engine will stop and that is what it would do if you started it remotely and got in and did not put key in and turn to on.

Ok...well i went back underneath and it look like i may have loosen plugs in to the fuse block...i pushed a plug back in and fired it up. sweet!!

on another note...how do you find a "keyed" hot wire?
