truck surges forward when cold

hey to all ! when its cold out my 2002 f250 jumps ahead when starting its still in park and stops seconds after . any ideas thanks Gil

never tried to start in neutral I guess I should have said its an automatic Thanks Gil

hey there, I have noticed that as well, when the truck starts it kind of rolls forward, I have noticed it being the torque of the motor probably in conjunction with cold motor oil and cold motor mounts. But it only happens with the initial rumble. Do you have a diesel?

Its a gas engine. I was thinking cold auto fluid but have never had a auto do it before. Temp was only 30 degrees and its going to get a lot colder this winter. I guess I just wanted to now if was a problem ? thanks for any advice Gil
