Hey Jr. / Dusty, still having the same problem ( S cubed ). Had a friend replace the key cylinder today ( pushed on the pin with a drill bit & almost pushed a hole in my finger ). He took my starter that was laying on the seat ( lucky it was a flat tip ) & pried it out. Worked great for a little while. Have the electrical switch part, didn't try that yet. Still nothing on accessory. Feels like it's still hanging up sometimes. Does seem to need the screwdriver less now. How loose should that rod be? Feels to me like it has a lot of slop. Is that normal? I can sometimes wiggle it around if the first try with the key doesn't work & then it works. Am getting puzzled, the old key cylinder was hanging up even after it was out, so I'd say it needed replaced anyway.

Actuator?? Know what the rod is & have a new electrical switch to put on, but what is the actuator? Thought the key cylinder pushed the end of the rod & that pushed the switch?
