I bought a boost ann. and a cold air intake. I am planning on getting the Snow stage II and a wicked wheel if I don't have one already. My question is do I need to get my DP reburned or can I put these on my ride without harming anything? Also my truck somkes alot in all tunes. Normal??
I would say that the answer to your first question is no, you don't need a re-burn.
The WW is just going to make the turbo work better.
As to why you're smoking.... Do you have a boost gauge? How much boost are you getting? You shouldn't be smoking except when stomping on it.
What is your MPG?
I guess it depends on his definition of "smokes a lot". Mine will smoke, but only if I get on it or have it on one of the higher tunes. Excessive smoke usually points to a problem somewhere.
So I won't need a re-burn with these additions? Kinda what Ray is talking about, every tune more than wanted, but I will live with it I like it Just wondering if anyone else was smoking that much. Jody knew about the trans. com. when I ordered the chip and he didn't say anything about me needing to remove it.

I just checked with Jody and he says if you like harder firm shifting keep it, if you don't like it after the chip is installed unhook the trans. com.

My girl shifts like a dream, except when slowing down. At the 45mph range it downshifts hard and I usually am ready with the brakes to help it slow down. I was told though with any additions I would have to update the chip. Just wondering if tat's true?

Not with all new additons.
Some, yes...
Changing injectors- going from Splits to Singles.
Installing dual HPOP's
Some aftermarket valve bodies or fully built tranny's require new tunes.
Bigger turbo's- depends on how efficent the trubo is.
Using NOS, meth mixed with water or Propane.
