another thing to check while you've got it apart is the actuator spring.I found one with a weak spring and was starting to open early
I was just in your neck of the woods. I went out to the airport with my old man. My Dad is from Culberson. I am going to check it out. I should have my chip and everything installed this weekend. We shall see.

.
Culberson ain't very far from me going through the woods/back roads to spur 60,probly 15 minutes
You may have drove within a couple hundred feet from my house
Yeah, re-reading it, I was thinking in my head "sh-sh-sh-sh", not "sssshhhhhhhhhh", if you get my written 'net sound effects. LOL
If it's not a "sh-sh-sh...", then I agree that it's normal. You'll love the WW though with the open intake. No you need to get those tunes in there. I didn't read the whole thread well -- whose tunes did you get?

I was going to go PHP performance but due to my work coming to an end I decided to save a couple of bucks (it may bite me in the ****) but bought a TS Performance 6 position chip. We will see if it eorks when it gets here.
At 60 mph your RPM's are well under 2000. It's normal to see low boost at lower RPM's. It takes longer to build boost when under 2000 RPM's, and the fact that you are holding the pedal at the point to keep it from downshifting means that you aren't fueling fully either to spool the turbo.
You've already verified that you can reach 15 psi of boost at WOT. Normal max boost for a stock PSD while unloaded is 15-17 psi.
Exactly. If you have 3.73's, you wont hit 2000 RPM unitl 68mph. These trucks don't really build boost fast below 1800 RPM's when stock. That's why it takes off once you hit around 70.
Really?
So 3.73 is 68MPH@2K so 4.10 would be 65MPH@2K then?
Well crud, I thought I had 4.10's now I find out I have 3.73's and I pull better then my buddy's truck and he must have 4.10's because in his truck at 65mph he was at about 2 or 2.1K
But yea, in regards to building boost, he's right, I don't get put back in my seat until about 1800rpm, then you feel the turbo kick in and it's like WHAM!
