Hi, was wondering if anyone has ever dealt with www.rockauto.com
I found this site for replacement parts and the prices seem to be pretty good and was wondering if anyone has had any experiences with them.

my buddy used to get parts from them for his Jeep. they are alright. i get some stuff from auto parts warehouse or something like that. basically the same site. i think they are like sister sites or something. i got my ball joints and stuff from there.

 

I buy all my Moog and spicer suspension parts from them. before you buy google "rock auto discount" and find the latest discount code and get some more savings.
the only problem I have is shipping time so I try to keep enough parts for an obs and super duty in stock and just order replacement stock.
also they have the raybestos advanced technology slotted rotors and ceramic pads for a good price

I have ordered through them 6 or 7 times for my truck and my wife's minivan. Never had any problems and I have saved quite a bit of money in the closeout items.

 

I like the fact that they show you a list of all the company's that make the part you are looking for. You get to pick a company you think is good. And of course go with the cheapest if you think it will do. Usually a big difference in price from high to lowest for the same part. As long as your not in a rush to get what you need they are good to do business with.

 

no I haven't yet, I butchered an Elk and slaughtered a steer yesterday after elk hunting in the morning. I did glance at it as i was robbing parts from another truck but didn't do much of an inspection on it.
I will try to do that tomorrow, I will just post the pics on my photo bucket account and pm you a link.

I was wondering the same thing....

 

I use them regularly. Good stuff. But make sure you know what you are ordering! I can get name brand front and rear brakes and rotors for the same price that I would pay for the pads alone. Multiple item orders are where you really save. I also do not pass a parts store on the way to work so come the weekend, my parts are already here.
