The front doors are 6.5's the rear speakers(in front of back seat) are 5x7's

I want to just put one 8" or 10" somewhere in the truck and a decent amp but I don't know where to mount the Sub so that it won't be in the way cause I use my bed quite frequently to carry stuff and I have a big ol' tool box mounted on the right side.

center console speaker
I have an '89 Bronco I'm taking and putting a custom box that replaces the center console with a speaker box/ console. You'll only lose a little room if you do it right as far as the center console goes but as far as room in truck goes you lose none.
