Turbo???
'04 6.0l PSD Turbo Back 4" exhaust( no Cat), K&N Filter, and 43K miles. While pulling 12K lb. 5th wheel got turbo fart while numerous times while cruising at 65 -70 mph. Get puffs of black smoke each time is farts. I get on it and it goes away. Also slow down to 60 mph and ease it up to 65 mph (trans downshifts) it will do okay for awhile. Codes show Turbo Underboost, EGR sensor A and EGR Circuit. Cleaned EGR Valve. Had powdery soot on valve, not wet. Took it out and drove up to 95 mph several times, no problems. Pulled fiver again. Did okay first 90 miles or so (outdoor temp. 52 degrees.). On return trip outdoor temp. 71 degrees and did turbo fart c**p again. What are your thoughts on this?

Sounds like sticking turbo vanes to me. Do you have a boost gauge on your truck? It is very common for these trucks to overboost when pulling a heavy load when the turbo is sticking. That is when damage to other parts of the engine can occur.
