More Advice needed
I am having great success distracting the purse strings of the other half and getting the mods lined up. while she is looking away at some at the the other items, i need to order a Dp. So who has a good one and can i order it on line. Also if i have a 3 1/4 id exhaust now, is upgrading to a 4 in gonna do much or should i jump to 5 in. does it really matter?

4" is plenty. Good for about 500 ponies. 5 inch is more for sound and looks. Def. give dale at tymar a call. I just did a few days ago, and that man is a powerstroke genius. Plus customer service is top notch!

I run 6" after the DP, its simply obnoxious. also for you since your in Denver you have to pass emissions so here is how to do the second half of that. Since Denver requires emissions tesing on diesels you have to have a catalytic converter to pass since theese trucks had one from the factory. However they really dont do much of anything except get plugged up and rob power. When you do the exhaust have the cat taken off and either take a crowbar and a sledgehammer and gut it completely (it just a stone like material that can be chipped out) or enought to sleeve a slightly smaller pipe in through it back to the main pipes and weld it in. That will give you lots more power and sound and still pass emissions since all they look for is that it has one not wether or not it works.
