Front axle hub difference

Front axle hub difference
What's the difference between the early 99 and later 99 front hubs. They look the same to me besides some are ABS. I have to replace my hub,U-joint and outer axle, passenger side. Does the axle just pop out of the transfer case? Thanks for any info.

The early and late hubs have about 3 or 4mm difference in width. They are not interchangeable. I had to replace mine so I went ahead and bought the late 99 hubs and rotors and converted mine over. It was actually cheaper to buy both hubs and rotors than one early 99 hub.
