I also joined the "its leak in the high pressure oil system club". They replaced the connectors and for two weaks now it has been running like a champ. Would not surprise me every 2005 6.0L will experience the same problem. Definitely a design defect.

Sounds like a high pressure oil leak somewhere but you will have a much better chance of getting help by starting a new thread. Also, if you have any way to read numbers like FICM volts, HPOP, fuel press, etc. it will help get more accurate diagnosis. Good luck!

x2.

For any of the parts you need, we can hook you up with OE and aftermarket parts as well - just for less $$ than you'll spend elsewhere. We're at ficmrepair.com.

I have just purchases an 2005 6.0 f350 lariat with 190,000 kms, runs smooth, has the power sounds great but it wont start once its warm. Was told it had an internal oil leak, but i Brought it to a disel mechanic and he did both valves, installing all new seals but the valves were dry. I really hope it is not the oil pump as i have been reading because i do not have the money right now. Please help
