valve cover clips

I did some mods and maintence on my truck yesterday. I changed to the WW on the turbo, replaced glow plugs and retorqued everthing in the valve train down. That clamp on the back of the turbo what a pain in the a$$. While puting the truck back together I broke one of the retainer clips to the plug on the outside of the valve cover. Is there a replacement part or do I try and cut one off a truck in a juck yard? The plug worked itself loose once already and the truck was only running on the left side of the motor. Any advice on this problem would be a great help. Thnax Mike

Mine has been gone for quite a while now because I broke it one day, pulling the plug for the umpteenth time.
The red part is only the secondary lock, there is still another locker that holds the plug on just fine.
At least that is the way it is on my truck.

My little red clip has been MIA for a good while now. No problems and if not mentioned here, I wouldn't have given it another thought.

I know it dont really matter. But I hate to have missing parts. So if any one has a extra clip let me know.

That's the part I'm looking for but how do you install it. How do you remove the wires from the old plug?

The little RED locking clip slides up thought it to lock the housing with the wires to the sensor.
