Question driving down freeway then died

I have a 96' f250 7.3 turbo diesel with about 250,000 mi. 8" lift 38" tires, edge tuner, shimmed fuel pres., after market air intake.
I was driving down the freeway the other day when the truck just died in traffic. I coasted over to side of the road and tried to restart it. No luck for several min. the I checked the fuel filter, (looked dirty) shook it out a little and then tried to start again. It fired up and ran for about 10 min. till I reached my destination then it died again before I could finish parking. shock the filter out again then tried to start again then it would not. I was close to a Napa store and got s new filter and put it in, it ran for about 5 min. then died and I have not been ale to start it again since the trouble code was the cps and P-1212 the icp sensor I replaced them both today and it still will not start. I also cleaned the little fuel screen on the water separator( a little plugged But clean now).
The same codes keep coming back with the new parts and still no fire. I sprayed silicone down the air filter and it fire a little till the spray was gone. There is fuel in water separator and pressure when I push the schrader valve. I am completely baffled. it was running fine before it happened.

does the tach bounce at all when you try to start it after it dies? the cps can be intermitent. if not, check your chip if its a chip and piggybacks on the pcm, my chip came out a hair on the board and shut the pig off on my around a corner, it suckedd!! dang things are heavy lol

It shut off like I turned the key off, no cough, choke, nothing just shut down.

Update: I had to take it to the dealership (Evergreen Ford in Issaqua WA.) They we a total help at a reasonable rate. They came to the conclusion that my high press. oil system had run itself dry somehow they added oil to HPO reservoir, by checking the oil level in the reservoir using the little allen head screw plug in the top on the right with a long zip-tie like a dip-stick. Now the only hard part is to figure out why it went dry. Mechanic said may something loose in oil pan and got clogged in pick-up tube??? or sludge?? changed the oil after dealership and drain plug was clean with no debris of any kind.
