Driving on freeway about 65 and engine started running rough. Felt like it was missing or not running on all cylinders, pulled off the road and the engine died. Let it sit for a minute then tried to start. It started but still ran rough. Shut it down and waited again. Next start turned key on and waited till glow plug light and fuel light went out. Cycled key about three times this time started, revved up nicely so off i went. About an eighth of a mile later it did it again. Had it towed home changed both HCFM filter and secondary filter on top of the engine no water in fuel and little rubbish nothing abnormal. Still doing the same thing. Checked for DTC's but no codes using OBDII for codes. Anyone got any ideas or what the problem could be? Its a 2003 F250 PSD about 114,000 miles on it.
I used a nail puller on one side, and a large flat blade screw driver on the other. Wiggle back and forth, slowly made it's way out. Had mine out this morning, checking for moisture.
