Well, I was leafing through the Princess Auto Christmas toy flyer when I nearly choked. There it was, a 10 000lb 12 volt Superwinch with fairlead, cable, and wiring for $499. I wonder if the wife will notice....... Merry Christmas to me......???
I noticed that too, not a bad deal at all! I would love to get one to mount to the front of my trailer, but the trailer I have right now isnt worth it, so Ill wait for the next good deal!
Missed the Super Winch part...... I wouldn`t count on it still being made in the USA. It would be interesting to check the fine print on the back of the box to see.......
Yeah you arent kidding. Even "north american" companies arent making everything in north american anymore.
I was shopping for a brad nailer, a flooring nailer and an air compressor today, and you wouldnt believe the amount of products out there that are made in china! (or taiwan, etc)
Normally, with the prices a PA, I don't worry about that. It can usually be replaced cheaply enough. Bigger ticket items like the winch, however are another story....
Made in China? If so then I`d be careful with that one.....
even if it wasn't, it was probably made in north america by the same chinese breed of people that just don't have a good sence of quality. i don't understand... with all the crap that they ship to us as examples of their workmanship, how the heck does the "Great Wall of China" stay standing??? oh i know, western contractors and pride in workmanship...
