Frame
How/what can I do to see if my frame is bent of tweaked. I have a 68 shortbed. My body lines are off like 3/4 of an inch from bed to cab. Drivin me crazy. I thought it would be bent from how low my truck is. But these frames are tough!

Maybe your cab mounts are shot, I would check that first.
Otherwise find out the measuremets between the frame rails and start measuring the frame from front to back. Doesnt hurt to put in on a lift and give it a good once over.

Had it on the lift and everything looks great. The drop I beams are new. It was dropped the right way. I am going to check the cab mounts and just shuim everything up for next season if i have to. I will buy mounts also. Thanks man!!!

Im guessing the cab mounts only because my truck had a similar problem. The driver door was awful close to the fender. The cab mount looked alright, but once I pulled the cab it was a different story. Both front mounts were bad though they appeard good from the outside.
