ok heres the deal, i have a 90 f250 with the 351 and E4OD trans.... i found an offer of a 82 f150 with a 300 6 4 speed standard trans, i have not gotten a chance to check it out to see if its a 4 speed or 5 speed ( also both trucks are 4wd ) anyways does anyone know what trans that would be, also would the standard trans bolt to my 351, and would it be able to handle the power coming from the 351, IF the trans will straight bolt to the 351, would the flywheel bolt up too or would i have to get a seperate flywheel? Thanks to anyone and everyone thats offers help or even took the time to read this whole book i just wrote

The 300 six and the windsor family of V8's share the same belhousing bolt pattern so it will bolt up, but the 5.8 uses a 28oz flywheel while the 300 is zero imbalance so you can't use that one.
