Bearing Replacement
The truck pulls to the right so we took it in to have it aligned. We were told to have the bearings replaced. The only thing that seems odd is that the axle has 60000 miles on it. It seems low for the bearings to be going. What is the test to see if they need replacing?

Jack up the front of the truck and set it on jack stands. Then try to move the tire up and down with a pry bar. You shouldn't see play there. Also try move back and fourth side to side and any other direction. That is the best way to find bad suspension parts and so fourth. It helps to have someone help you so one can move the tire while the other one watches for play. Do both sides.
