DAMNIT

so in changing my fuel filter i broke off some POS plastic piece on the incoming side of the fuel line. thats the part that makes the seal or something

either way its gone forever

now what? can i buy a new one?

NOW IM STUCK AGAIN jesus i sware ford make theses things self destructive for the shadetree mechanic.


im starting to hate this

What broke?Was it the blue clip or an orange clip?If so you can get them at the stealership but they ain't exactly cheap for a little plastic clip.
Next time j/k I just had to use that smiley.

didnt see an orange.

how exactly can you replace that? its built in. so skip on the local parts store and go to the unhappiest place on earth?

LOL! that's so funny. I DID THE EXACT SAME THING!!!, 25$ Canadian for the clips. next time all you gotta do is pull out the tab to get the hose off, GL

Look at the bag in that pic. Those clips are made in France...no wonder they collapse under the slightest pressure.

So do the pink clips still need the special tool or are they like the older fords just pull out the c style part of the clip like in the picture figure 4
