Special thoughts and prayers to those who are away from their families fighting for our freedoms. Thank you my brothers and sisters for doing what you do.
And to all you, be safe and enjoy.

What Matt said goes for me X2. Only thing is that for the most part that I have found while deployed in a$$pit of the world, most of the time the military makes good and I ate very well. Does not mean it did not suck being there, just means our folks get taken care of to the best of ability. That always felt good. Matter of fact, I have been overseas where the spread could not be rivaled by anything I have seen since. It's about morale.
For all at home, enjoy what you have and don't think it is sparse, you are home and be thankful for that. For those doing a bit of travel, be safe and enjoy. I will be traveling a bit myself.
Terry, thanks for starting this thread and Happy Thanksgiving to you and everyone else here on FTE. The Mrs. spent today preparing the meal already so she will have more time tomorrow to spoil Farmkid! Or we could go Farmboy II or Jr.
Our son-in-law is heading east somewhere between Germany and Afghanistan so please keep him in your prayers for the next year.
Not a problem, I wanted to help start spreading the joy around here. Also your son in law will be in my thoughts and prayers as well as all the rest of the troops fighting for freedoms.
Thanksgiving is a time for family. I am thankful for my family, and that includes my extended family here at FTE. Have a wonderful day, Brothers and Sisters! Keep those that can't be with us in your thoughts and prayers.
Happy Thanksgiving to all of FTE and your families. And a heartfelt thanks to those of you that make the sacrifice to serve or are missing someone special this season because of their commitment to serve so we can enjoy these freedoms that we have. Sometime it's easy to forget about the freedoms that we enjoy and take them for granted. Thanks for the reminders and again, thanks to the few who serve for the many who enjoy their sacrifices. They only deserve the best on these holidays, and I would hope the dinner spread that we provide them overseas would put any stateside spread to shame. It's the least we can do for them.
As I take some time today to reflect upon the things for which I am most thankful, I keep returning to the people and accomplishments of this group.
This group does some really fabulous things, with super people to accomplish them. Without you 7.3 guys and gals, how I feel about my truck just wouldn't be the same.
Collectively, we are each other's safety net and best repair manual, and that's something I've never had with anything else I've ever driven, even earlier Ford trucks, even with earlier FTE mail-list user groups and internet forums.
I look at the forums for newer models, and they just don't have that same "feeling of family" that we enjoy here, unless you want to describe them as a "dysfunctional family".
For what am I thankful today? It's you, the people of this particular forum, FTE's "7.3". My brethren. We are leaving things in a better condition than we found them. More than that can't be asked.
