Sorry Eric, I believe my Ex will be the last one left on Earth! I too have a mint Ex with 70K miles that I let sit around as much as possible! Ok....... I can settle on the 2 of us having the last 2 Excursions on Earth!!

I am also going to do the Cummins conversion when my 6.0 dies!

Bought my 02 Ex in April of 2002. Paid it off Feb. of 2007. Love the feeling of not having any car pmts. My wife's van is also paid for.

I'm gonna have to challenge the longest EX in existence. Mine is an 02 MINT cond. with 40,500 miles...NEVER getting rid of it..

My neighbors think I'm crazy because I have RV wheel covers on the tires so they do not get sun rotted out. Drive it about 5k miles/year. When I drive it, it is all highway...never short trips..

It sounds like we all feel the same. I just purchased a 05 X PSD about ago month and now have my 1st auto loan for $30000 to pay over the next five years and have decided that this will be my last primary vehicle that I will own (35yrs old). I believe we all have a collector's suv and the last dinosaur of the highway. So for everyone thinking that they will be the last one with an X, I'm sorry to bust your bubble, I'm in the running also.

You guys make sure you take care of the X and don't drive them everyday, or even every week. Make sure you do the required maint on schedule and the such.

That way when I wear mine out, I know who's to come and steal!http://images.ford-trucks.com/forums.../party0040.gif

Oh man, by Spring I'll already have 3 more coats of wax on my EX!

Ok, so it's conclusive that MY EX will be lasting the longest of all others!

Don't you know that a coat of mud protects better than a coat of wax of ANY brand.

Now that's funny! Well I guess after the 3 coats of wax it's time to go mud

bogging? Ok so, 3 coats of wax and 1 layer of mud and it's still conclusive that

my Ex will last longer than any of yours!
