Just noticed these tires today on tirerack for 200 a piece as a 315/70/R-16. How are they? They look alot like the old BFG Mud Terrains. Has anyone used these before, how do they wear? Ill be using the tires on my daily driver that I take off road once every two weeks or so.
My F350 srw had firestone destinations on it when I bought it. Here is my experience with them. they wore down fast. Once they got a little wear on them they were as noisy as a tsl. I was turning donuts on hard dirt and actually tore chunks out of the thread. The rubber is verry soft.
I am now running Cooper stt's and love them. They are a lot better tire.
