Thank you eveyone. Is there anything I need to know for this swap besides disconnecting neg terminals on my batts and the need for a couple of extensions to get the upper bolt? I will be laying in my driveway in the cold and rain doing this job i'm sure, so I'll want it to go as smoothly as possible. not my favorite month here in WA.
I assume you are in the Seattle area (suburbs) based on the fact you are worried about it being wet...
Just curious, just moved to Ellensburg in the last month or so...

I am in the Longview / Kelso area in SW WA. It's about an hour north of Portland, 2 hours south of Seattle. I lived in E-burg for 7 years. Beautiful, friendly, and very comfortable place to live. Go get a supermother @ the Tav. best burger in town.

I have had family in the Seattle area ever since I was a kid (Longview, Bremerton, Bellingham, Everette, Monroe, Puyallup) having grown up in the Tri-Cities. We passed through (by) Eburg often, but never spent a lot of time there.
It's a big change having lived the last 10 years in Boise. But having lived in Milton-Freewater (or close enough to Walla Walla), I hope to adjust back into a slower pace.
So, the Tav.?, which one?

It's called the Tav. You will adjust, I'm sure. People are very friendly, great art community, lots of history, and very outdoor oriented. Lots of big trucks, it is a cow town. You'll fit right in.
Starter showed up thurs while I was out of town. got back @ noon today, was done by 1:30, by myself, laying on the ground, with it 20 degrees outside. Dare I say it was a very easy fix, even in less than desireable conditions, and I am no mechanic. by the time I got set up, all told it took about 20 minutes. truck started so fast it startled me.....
holy crap that is a good starter. All is well
