The coe pro (48fordcoe)came to help dismantel the Beastt and start to finish was 3 hrs, fastest tear down I ever been involved with. Tom knows every bolt and knows which one comes out first, he is a wild-man, no wonder he built the Orange truck in 4 months. It sure is great to have good friends and to think we met through FTE, this is the greatest place to meet people and enjoy our old trucks, best part is they come to your garage and WORK ha ha, Garry
Very cool! 3 hours huh? thats not right, heck, it takes me more than 3 hours just in the planning, worrying, wringing hands, and discussing stage, not too mention having to take several frosty beverage breaks. I bet I could procrastinate and draw out the process for at least 3 months.
Not only a cool garage but that COE is one of the coolest trucks I had seen in a long time! In a different thread someone said that black COE looked like a tonka toy and each time I go back and look at those pics thats all I can think of! That truck was SIC before he took it apart, I cant imagine whats up his sleeve with this COE. Taking it from sic to super sic? Is that even a term btw? If not, it is now!
Havi, I put a 4x4 in the rafters and used the chain hoist to pick the beam to sit it in place, first time I used it in the new garage and works great eacept I'll have to put some links in the chain you pull on because it's up so high I had to stand in a chair to operate the hoist, later Dudes
