suspension upgrade
Hello everyone I am new to FTE and i have a question about upgrading my suspension if it is even possible. i have a 94 f 150 flare side with a straight six 5 speed . truck runs great but i do tile work and i load alot of tile and thin set in the back. i was wondering if i can upgrade my suspension to an F 250 or better. i would have gotten an f 250 and not worry about anything but i found my f 150 it was cheap and it had the engine i wanted in a truck. i used to have an 86 full sized Bronco with the straight six and i loved it till the rear end gave out on me and i had to let it go. it had 330,000 original miles on it rust and oil leaking everywhere( rear main seal) and was still running good. well is the suspension upgrade possible to make my truck a little more heavy duty? <!-- / message --> <!-- BEGIN TEMPLATE: ad_showthread_firstpost_sig --> <!-- END TEMPLATE: ad_showthread_firstpost_sig --> <!-- controls -->

well i wana start by saying anything is possible it just depends on how you look at you truck and how creative you wana b. yes you can make your suspension similar to a f250. you can either go with a helper spring package in the rear or just swap your springs with f250 springs or add leafs to your existing pack wich i do not like but many people do it i do not like it because your orginal leafs are all breaked in already and dont sit as stiff as new ones will.
