Just had to show off the fruits of my labor this past weekend. A buddy of mine came over and we installed a Zone Leveling kit on my 2004 F250. I put F350 blocks in the rear and then added the spring pack and adjustable trac bar and shimmed the carrier bearing.
The zone kit was pretty good quality in my opinion. The only thing I wish they would have done different was to have better quality hardware specifically when it comes to the bolts that come to the spring pack. I replaced them with Grade 8 hardware. It was shipped with Grade 3.
Anyway here are the pics:

I do need to get an add a leaf in the rear I think to fully level it out. It's about 1" taller in front just by eye sight.
It was a pain in the ***, but technically it wasn't difficult.
You would have been fine with the grade 3. We make up u bolts for semis and trailers. Most are grade 5.
I agree it probably would have held together but we decided not to follow the specific line in the instructions where it stated that you should not use an impact to bolt the spring packs together. Instead it wanted you to use C-Clamps and a wrench, well we decided to use an impact and stripped the threads, thus forcing us to get new bolts and they had no problem going on with an impact
I have that same kit and love it. Except I made the mistake of putting the 1" shackle up front too. Thankfully I have rear airbags to keep it level until I can decide what I want to do for the rear.
